Some things you’ll need to know before the first day:

- MSA will provide your child with a new soccer shirt.  You will see us sitting at the sign in table.

- Sneakers or soccer cleats.

- All players MUST wear shin guards (under their socks). No child is allowed to play without shin guards.

- NO jewelry is allowed. (No earrings, bracelets or necklaces). If you’re thinking of getting your child's ears pierced, please consider waiting until the end of the season.

- Bring a water bottle.

- Bring a Size 3 soccer ball.

To ensure social distancing, we request that only one guardian spectator per player is allowed at the fields.  Players and guardians should wear masks when entering and exiting the field. Players will also be asked to wear masks throughout the session.  Guardians are also required to wear masks when present at each session.

See further guidance issued by Mass Youth Soccer on September 4, 2020 below:

Massachusetts Youth Soccer is requiring all players wear a face covering per the most current EEA Guidelines for Organized Youth and Adult Amatuer Sports. Only face coverings that secure with loops around a player’s ears are acceptable. Face coverings must be worn when a player steps onto the playing field. During play when spacing is greater than 6 feet from another player a “mask break” to catch their breath may be taken. The default expectation is that face coverings will be worn.

Players must properly wear their face covering at all times when on the sidelines and in any huddles except when 6 or more feet from another player for a “mask break” to catch their breath, drink or eat. If conditions are so severe as to warrant masks too dangerous to wear, the competition must be delayed, postponed or cancelled.
